Christopher Ainsley

Chief Executive Officer

Christopher Ainsley is the chief executive officer of ShopperTrak. He is leading ShopperTrak’s global expansion as the retail industry’s leader in consumer behavior intelligence and information products. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations as they relate to revenue growth and strategic direction. Under his leadership, the company has an increased presence in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa.

Ainsley joined ShopperTrak in 2008 after serving as president and CEO of The Patent Board where he successfully transitioned the company from a consultancy to a business model of online tools and analytical products. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of global strategy and business development for LexisNexis, New York.

He has also served as president and chief executive officer of Wolters Kluwer Health, one of three international divisions of Wolters Kluwer NA.

A native of England and now an American citizen, Ainsley earned a Master of Arts degree from Oxford University and graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration with a master of business administration degree.

Zachary W Jarrell, CPA, is the head of finance at ShopperTrak, where he oversees the organization’s financial strategy and operations on a global scale. Jarrell has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, strong profit-and-loss leadership and is committed to maximizing long-term shareholder value.

Jarrell has been with ShopperTrak more than 10 years, serving in roles of increasing responsibility, including vice president of global finance and as financial controller. Prior to joining ShopperTrak, he worked as a senior auditor with RSM McGladrey and American Express Tax & Business Services, with stints overseas handling audit and tax projects for midsized companies.

Jarrell is proficient in Spanish and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bradley University.

Kevin Kearns is the chief revenue officer at ShopperTrak, where he oversees the professional services and marketing department, as well as the global sales and sales operations teams. He previously served as the chief sales officer, where he was responsible for leading global sales and customer service operating in over 90 countries.

Prior to joining ShopperTrak in 2010, Kearns was the chief sales officer for WorkflowOne, where he led the company to record profit and new sales growth. Previously, he served as president of Huthwaite Incorporated, creators of SPIN Selling, where he led them to consistent annual double-digit revenue and profit growth. Kevin also served in roles of increasing responsibility for Moore North America (now RR Donnelley).

An accomplished senior executive and sales expert, Kearns is the author of “Escaping the Price Driven Sale,” published through McGraw Hill in 2007. He holds degrees in economics and business administration from the University of Iowa.

Kristin Kranias is the Vice President of Global Professional Services at ShopperTrak where she leads the client engagement, field change management and advisory services teams serving over 1000+ retail and mall customers. Kristin and her team help clients take action on their ShopperTrak data in combination with other key metrics to drive results in their locations.

Prior to joining ShopperTrak, Kristin was the co-founder of SaleTally, a marketing data company that aggregates and analyzes retailer promotion data. She sold SaleTally to ShopperTrak in 2014 and moved from San Francisco to Chicago with the company. Before starting SaleTally, Kristin was a Principal at Bain & Company where she focused on retail, consumer, technology and ecommerce clients.

She received her MBA from Stanford and her AB in economics from Harvard.

Justin B. LoVallo is the vice president of operations at ShopperTrak, where he is responsible for implementation, project management and ongoing client support. LoVallo has been with ShopperTrak for more than nine years, serving in positions of increasing responsibility, including his most recent role as the director of global implementation.

Prior to joining ShopperTrak in 2006, LoVallo was a student at Georgetown University where he earned his bachelor’s degree studying political science and economics; as well as interning for both former Congressman Rahm Emanuel and Goldman Sachs, Inc.

LoVallo is currently working towards his MBA at the University of Chicago (Booth).

Dan Mahoney is the vice president of North American sales at ShopperTrak, where he is responsible for driving double digit revenue growth across the region. His focus includes business development, strategic execution of the sales cycle, and increasing brand awareness.

Prior to joining ShopperTrak, Mahoney served as vice president of marketing and business development at NVISION, a leading marketing supply chain solutions provider, where he was responsible for leading the profitable growth agenda and expanding the firm’s North American footprint. Prior to NVISION, Mahoney served in roles of increasing responsibility with OfficeMax, most recently as the vice president of sales and strategy.

Mahoney holds a bachelor’s degree from Alfred University.

Bill McCarthy is the CEO of ShopperTrak EMEA operations, where he is responsible for managing all aspects of ShopperTrak’s business in the region. McCarthy previously served as the chief technology officer with ShopperTrak for more than four years, where he led the design, development and management of technology systems.

Prior to joining ShopperTrak in 2009, McCarthy spent nine years as chief operating officer and vice president of technology at ShopLocal, working with some of the largest retailers in the U.S.

McCarthy holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

Adan Pope is the chief technology officer at ShopperTrak, where he oversees the organizations’ technological advancement, including the research and development of cutting-edge innovations. He is a highly experienced communications software executive with a 25-year career in technical strategy and leadership that has seen him consistently working at the forefront of industry innovation.

Prior to joining ShopperTrak, Pope served as vice president of technology and chief technology officer for the Business Unit Support Solutions within Ericsson. Pope joined Ericsson via the Acquisition of Telcordia Technologies in 2011 where he was the CTO and Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to Telcordia, Adan served as BU head and CTO for Amdocs, CTO Americas and vice president of research and innovation for Cramer Systems, CTO for Clear Communications, executive director of engineering and several technical roles at Tellabs and member of technical staff at AT&T Bell Labs early in his career.

Pope holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from DeVry University, as well as a Master’s of Science in Computer Science and an MBA from North Central College.

Brian Simpson

Director Latin America

Brian Simpson is the director of Latin America at ShopperTrak, where he leads the company’s expansioninto Mexico, Brazil and the rest of Latin America. Simpson’s primary responsibilities include sales, marketing and increasing retailers’ awareness of shopper analytics in the developing region.

Simpson joined ShopperTrak in 2011 after serving as a senior marketing manager in Nokia’s digital mapping and navigation division for six years. Previously, Simpson served in consulting roles at Deloitte Consulting and Siemens Management Consulting.

Simpson is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and German, and earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Kettering University and an MBA from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
