ShopperTrak Selected by LIDS to Provide Retail Analytics and Insights
Specialty retailer leverages ShopperTrak solutions to optimize in-store operations and enhance shopping experience
CHICAGO – July 14, 2015 – ShopperTrak, the leading global provider of consumer behavior insights and location-based analytics, today announced its selection to measure in-store traffic and provide customer behavior insights for LIDS and Locker Room by LIDS, an omni-commerce retailer of sports headwear, apparel, accessories, and novelties across more than 1,350 retail locations in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.
As ShopperTrak’s newest customer, LIDS — a subsidiary of Genesco — will be able to accurately measure in-store traffic, optimize labor scheduling, and better evaluate in-store promotions. ShopperTrak insights will also enable the specialty retailer to increase conversion through a deeper understanding of shoppers and the ability to generate an enhanced customer experience.

As part of a pilot program that began in November 2014, LIDS implemented ShopperTrak’s perimeter analytics solution across 20 retail locations. From the pilot, LIDS recognized the potential to improve operating income and opted for a large-scale rollout in mid-2015.
